Brisbane has a diverse and energetic art community, with short courses in jewellery making in hot demand. From his studio based in Red Hill, Dan Cox offers short courses, private tuition and focus workshops in jewellery making. Studio space is also available for people to develop their skills further or just to hire a bench for the day!
The Dan Cox Studio has been set up with a hydraulic press, rolling mill, tumbler, ultra sonic, polisher and flexi-drives. Dan Cox offers participants and workshop attendees the chance to not only hone their skills, but to learn new techniques all in the one space.
With only four spaces available in each class, tuition is focused on each participant’s own skill development. Smaller classes offer participants more individual attention assuring they get the techniques right the first time!
If individual attention is what you’re after, or your schedule does not allow you to attend a weekly class, then private tuition is for you! For a minimum of 3 hours, private lessons can be used to either kick start your skills, or to focus on particular projects or tools that you may be interested in.
Once you have completed one of the courses or workshops, or if you just need some space to work on your individual project/s (that’s not the kitchen table), you can hire bench space. Hiring bench space will give you access to the Studio’s equipment, and is an affordable way to complete your projects.
Short courses run for eight weeks and studio hire starts from just $25/day. All skills levels are welcome. Contact Dan Cox now to discuss your needs or to book your place.
